Compete, challenge, practice and learn while having fun in the Virtual Tournament

On September 14-15, 2023, SANS in collaboration with AKCESK organize the virtual cyber tour, organized in the format of a “Capture the Flag” activity, created exclusively for the cyber security community of Central and Eastern Europe.
The tournament will welcome thousands of participants from various Central and Eastern European countries, who will test their skills in a wide spectrum of cyber security disciplines, in a fun and competitive environment. The challenge scenarios are based on the real world and are suitable for participants with basic and intermediate technical knowledge.

The SANS CEE Cyber Tournament event is organized in 2 rounds:
The first round is the Qualifying Round, where participation is open to everyone and participants will participate in a Boot-up CTF (Capture the Flag):
Dates: 14 – 15 September 2023
Time: 9:00 am CEST (Open for 48 hours)
Participants who manage to qualify in the Top 250 of the Boot-up CTF round will be then invited to participate in the Core Netwars Advanced Final Round. Participation in this round is by invitation only.
Dates: 28 – 29 September 2023
Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (CEST) 3 hours per day.

What is a Boot-up CTF?
SANS Boot-up CTF is a fun competition where you can practice skills technical cyber security. Through different activities, you will discover your strengths and challenge your limits! If you are new to cybersecurity, Boot-up is a good start to solving the challenges,
using the integrated advice system. If you’re already a professional in the field, you’ll have fun applying your skills and picking up new tricks during the competition.
